Let’s take a moment to misinterpret a few recent headlines in local news….
Here are a few solutions we might suggest:
1.Remove any and all iPhone access from said bears.
2. Locate and disable the Instagram accounts of selfie-taking bears as punishment.
3. Send selfie-snapping bears to therapy for narcissism.

If such were the case, then wouldn’t Tahoe be Sir-Mix-Alot’s main vacation spot? Just sayin’….
But seriously, let’s lay off the bad butts (cigs) and up the ante on good butts (especially if you’ve been doing lots of squats this summer.)

Jamie Anderson stuns as she snags yet another ESPY.
Jamie has added yet another trophy to her already robust collection of precious metal. If you’re not exactly sure what an ESPY is, think Grammy awards—except for sports.
Can we just take a second to talk about how HOTT Jamie looked in her sequin dress as she accepted not her first, not second, not third, but FORTH ESPY for Best Female Action Sports Athlete.
And with good reason; girl was on FIRE last season.
Despite breaking her collarbone in early December, Jamie managed to slay the X Games Aspen, X Games Norway, the Burton US Open, and the US Snowboard Championships in China. Did we mention she also scored the top spot in the World Snowboard Tour?
Where she puts all her medals and trophies, we have no idea, but we would like to imagine it’s in a special room lit with a revolving disco ball.
Cave Rock construction 25 percent complete. 75 more to take us home!
We all know there’s only two seasons in Tahoe. Winter season, and construction season. This is just a fact of life. Think of it as a toll you pay with the currency of your time for the joy of indulging in Tahoe’s amenities.
If you’ve been feeling frustrated with the ongoing construction at Cave Rock—guess what. It’s not even close to over.
However, it’s worth noting that the 6 million dollar project is nothing short of an undertaking. NDOT is extending the westbound, lakeside tunnel in order to enhance safety. They will be adding lights and repainting in order to help with visibility, and radar-activated signs will be installed overhead to notify drivers of cyclists and icy conditions.
Cave Rock 2.0 is due for completion in the fall. No word on whether or not there’s a Pokemon stop in the near vicinity.
